We have luxurious dog boarding kennels but understand that your dog may prefer to stay in the house with us! We can offer this but only 2 at a time. Why should you go on holiday and not treat the pooch to a nice B&B!



Our dog boarding kennels are super secure and tucked away. The security of your beloved dog is always at the front of our mind. Rest assured we are fully licensed by our local authority and Insured.

We treat them like our own

We don’t just leave them to it for their stay, they are spoilt with walks on the Beach and across the Exmoor. They will often spend the majority of their stay in the garden with us and the family. We only take a small number of dogs to ensure a high level of care.

Hello, I’m Scruff!

I’m one of the happy dogs that lives with Annette, our loving owner and the founder of Hairy Holidays, a small dog boarding kennels set in the glorious North Devon countryside.

Along with my chums, we share our wonderful home with a wide range of other furry friends who come to stay with us, sometimes for a week or two, or sometimes just for a day.

I love it when we have guest pooches stay, as it means lots and lots of walkies at least twice a day on the beaches or on Exmoor, which is right on our doorstep. Plus, I get to show off to the visiting pups just how good I am at fetch!

I like it when we have guests, but I’m glad Annette only takes a small number of dogs at a time. It means we all get plenty of love and attention, especially the visiting dogs who probably miss their owners, and we get to play lots and eat well which helps make them feel at home.

Annette knows that some dogs can find things difficult, so she’s able to use all of her 20 years of dog training experience with me and my buddies to help out any dogs that have behavioural issues. Whether it’s a loud outgoing Chihuahua or an unsociable Great Dane, I’ve seen her work her magic to keep every dog happy!

We snuggle up overnight in our kennels, which are well insulated, alarmed and supervised either personally or with CCTV systems, giving owners and dogs real peace of mind. She will even play visiting dogs’ favourite music if that’s what they need to feel right at home.
